SystemsBlog

Hi, I'm Nathan.

I'm a software engineer currently working on scaling AI products at Google Labs. Previously, I worked on hyperscale GPU and TPU cluster infrastructure at Google Cloud, building distributed systems for fleet management and topology-aware scheduling.

I studied Computer Science at Brown, where I was Head TA for core systems courses. I spent a lot of time diving deep into topics and writing assignments to help students build real understanding. This blog is a continuation of that—exploring technical concepts I find interesting and sharing what I learn.

Topics range from GPU programming and kernel development to distributed systems and AI infrastructure. The goal is always to explain clearly and build intuition for how things actually work.
